North East Watercolor Society is open to all water media painters.

Associate Members:

Eligible to enter the Annual Members' Exhibition
Reduced charge to enter the National Juried Exhibition
Reduced rate for NEWS sponsored workshops
May hold office, (except for President or Vice-President) and chair or serve on committees
Receive the newsletter, attend meetings, and see watercolor demonstrations
Interact with fellow artists in a social and friendly fellowship for the advancement of watercolor painting

Signature Members:

Have all rights and privileges of Associate members
Signature membership signifies paintings have been accepted and hung in three of NEWS Juried Exhibitions
Signature membership entitles the members to put the initials "NEWS" after their signature
